For the past two years Roy Amotz has served as musical director of a new chamber opera for children, SchattenGold (2020), by composer Matan Porat and Olga Myschkina based on Adelbert von Chamissos' "Peter Schlemihl". The project was commissioned by the Konzerthaus Berlin, where it is currently regularly performed.
